Mass Effect: Paragon Lost Voice Actor Marc Swint is Coming to AFFNJ!
So here's a story... Before "New-Media" officially had a name, there was a kid in Philadelphia who had a $20 microphone which he'd bought at a game store (there used to be more than one). At first he'd record himself doing voices, and emulating performances to the riveted audience of his cat. Along this journey, he'd eventually find himself auditioning for fandubs and indie games on the internet. A bunch of projects that never happened, a dash of podcasting, with a sprinkle of time and a little bit of dumb luck meeting at the intersection of what we'll call "mostly-preparedness" later, that kid became Marc Swint.

Marc is a Philadelphia based voice actor, writer and new-media producer who still... mostly works on the internet. And it's there that you'll find him working with Bennett The Sage on Anime Abandon, Team Four Star on Whatever They're Working On Abridged and whoever else darkens his door with a project that he'd deign to call "neato" or "the bees knees".

On those occasions that he works in meatspace, through a flurry of "Additional Voice" credits, he's managed to voice Mason in Mass Effect: Paragon Lost, Isaac Tukura in Modern Combat 5, additional voices in Dungeon Hunter 5 and most recently, almost as if his career was following some kind of pattern, Necalli in Street Fighter V.

Anime Critic & Writer Mike Toole Will be at Anime Fan Fest NJ!
Mike Toole got into this anime thing in 1994 (yep, that makes it over 20 years!) and turned pro in 1996, working as a critic and features writer for the likes of Animerica magazine, Anime Insider, Sci-Fi Magazine, and Otaku USA. He had a stint working as a spec copywriter and web designer for the late Geneon USA, developing websites and writing for favorites like NieA_7. More recently, he's been playing the role of associate producer with Discotek, developing extras and writing copy for this boutique DVD and Blu-Ray publisher. Most recently, you'll find him featured on guided commentary tracks for Wicked City and Night on the Galactic Railroad (with producer Justin Sevakis). Last Christmas he showed up on late-nite informercial TV (just like Ron Popeil!) as the host, producer, and writer of Crunchyroll's first-ever Holiday Special. He's been lecturing on a variety of anime topics nearly as long as he's been a fan, and has reliably filled rooms for years with fun fare like Dubs That Time Forgot and The Worst Anime of All Time. Currently, he's a biweekly columnist and sometime podcast guest and onscreen host for Anime News Network.

Cosplay Guest of Honor and Host of our first contest Jez Roth
Former designer for Cirque du Soleil's water spectacular O. Internationally known cosplayer and Representative for the USA at IOEA.

Cirque du Soleil. Nightclubs. Olympians. Red Carpets. Electric Daisy Carnival. Film. Commercials. Music Videos. Red Carpets. Jez Roth started sewing at the age of 13 on small crafts and at the local dance studio before falling in love with the art of cosplay at Katsucon 1998. After many years of competing at anime convention masquerades winning Best in Show 15 times with tailored costumes and heavily choreographed skits, he moved to Las Vegas to work for The Venetian designing the Opera Gowns, eventually landing at Cirque du Soleil's water spectacular O. Since leaving Cirque, he currently works freelance out of his own studio - creating everything from mermaids that shoot water, Mirrorball Men, and Golden Fairies that contort through the air, designing for events with A-list celebrities such as Kim Kardiashian, Eva Langoria, Snoop Dogg, and DJs such as Benny Benassi, Dash Berlin - his jewelry has even been worn on the red carpet at the Billboard Awards. He has traveled as far as Japan as a cosplay guest and represented the United States at the IOEA along with other cosplayers all over the world. He believes that the world of costuming is an endlessly fascinating pursuit - from armor to gowns, giant puppetry to monsters and his goal to share unique events that educate and involve the community.
